BioHi I’m Helen and I’m 29 years old. I live at home in Kent, still with my parents. I’d like to move out but can’t afford to right now. I work for a development charity in London so commute up from Kent every day. My main hobbies are singing and reading. I sing in my local church choir and in a female barbershop group – Barbi Shop. I’m very involved in my local church as I am secretary to various committees, which pretty much keeps me out of mischief.
Between the two choirs I sing a wide range of music, and my CD collection is even more eclectic. Likewise I read a whole mixture of books. My favourite authors are Elinor Brent-Dyer, Charles Dickens and Lisa Jewell.
My two obsessions in life are Ipswich Town FC and ‘Neighbours’ of which I am a huge fan and I have a vast collection of Neighbours tapes and other associated memorabilia, particularly Jason Donovan related stuff.
My journal probably won’t be that interesting as my life’s not exactly a roller-coaster but hey if it gets too boring, you can always escape to the land of make-believe.
